KinCut is a web app that finds the people you choose in long videos using face recognition, then cuts their moments into short clips and a highlight reel. No editing software and no scrubbing through hours of footage.
What kind of videos is KinCut for?
The personal ones. Family holidays, weddings, school plays, birthday parties, and old home movies. KinCut is being built to find the people you care about in long videos, so you can spend more time enjoying the moments.
Can I upload a video or use a YouTube link?
Upload an MP4, MOV, or WebM file up to 15 GB and KinCut will find your people and build a reel. Paste a YouTube link instead and KinCut fetches the video for you — use videos you own or have permission to use.
Do I have to wait while my video is processed?
No. While your video uploads, tell us where to send your people and we’ll email you a link as soon as they’re found. Videos take turns on our GPU, so if others are ahead of yours you’ll see your place in line. Keep the page open until your upload finishes; after that you can close it.
Is my family’s footage private?
Your video is uploaded securely, processed on our own GPU, and never shared or used to train anything. Your email is only used to tell you when your video is ready. It is kept private by default so your family moments stay yours.
Can I create and download a highlight reel today?
Yes. Upload a video, name the people you recognise, choose who to include, and watch a free preview of your highlight reel. To download and share it in full quality without the watermark, unlock the video once for $4.99 (19,99 zł). That covers every reel, short and format you make from it.
How much does KinCut cost?
Making and watching reels is free. Full-quality downloads, the shorts and sharing cost $4.99 per video, one time, tax included — or $9.99 for a pack of 3 videos. There is no subscription.
